eservicemanager is a self-funded Enterprise Service Management (ESM) platform based on the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Framework for IT Service Management (ITSM), developed in Australia by Evan Psarakis.
Evan has an extensive background in IT Service Management and software engineering ensuring quality product development, management and support.
Development of the platform started in August 2013 as one of Evan‘s side-projects before officially being named and progressed as a project under ESM Professionals in 2014.
Enable businesses to easily and affordably transform by managing data in a centralised digital platform to improve, grow and provide exceptional services to their customers.
Organisations are continuing to adopt Service Management practices in areas outside of an IT department and with it, the challenge of implementing a tool supporting this adoption and growth.
International software companies began infiltrating the Australian market with well marketed products, but average functionality, hidden costs and complicated licensing. Having worked with a number of ITSM software packages over the last 25 years, Evan experienced first hand how damaging these well-marketed tools are after implementation. Many products claim they support multi-tenancy and Enterprise Service Management, however produce unexpected costs to implement and maintain due to their design. Users of these products shouldn't have to wear this burden.
Evan quickly discovered it wasn't satisfying delivering someone else's solution, and took the approach of becoming a pilot and not a passenger.
A software development project was initiated to determine the need for a product enabling businesses to host multiple service areas on a single platform. The initial months were spent collating requirements from various customers reaching out for assistance whilst using well-marketed but poorly performing platforms.
